Welcome to Purple Dragon Martial Arts right here in the heart of Mount Pleasant. For twenty years, our East Vancouver dojo has been a sanctuary where neighbors come together to train, grow, and find a deeper sense of discipline. Led by Shihan Daniel Jacob, a sixth degree black belt and world champion, we teach a highly practical and dynamic style of movement. Rather than locking you into one rigid path, we blend the striking power of Karate and Kickboxing with the fluid, grounding techniques of Aikido, Judo, and Jiu Jitsu. Whether you are dropping off a four year old for their very first Little Ninja class or you are an adult stepping onto the mat to reclaim your fitness and learn real self defense, you will find a welcoming community waiting for you. We care about building confident, resilient people just as much as we care about proper technique.
