Privacy
Draft for the legal review: the wording below is ours and has not been checked by a lawyer yet.
What we do not collect
- No cookies on the pages you read. Nothing is stored in your browser to count you.
- No accounts for families, and no advertising or tracking tags.
- No location, unless you tap "Near me". Then your browser tells this page where you are, the page uses it to sort the list, and it is not stored.
What we count
When a club's page has been on your screen for a second, or when you tap its website, phone or directions, this page tells our server. The server stores the club, what happened, and a code made from your internet address, your browser's name and a random value that changes every day. That code lets us count one visit per day, not one per page load. It cannot be turned back into your address, and two days later the day's random value is deleted, after which nobody, us included, can connect it to anyone.
The individual records are deleted after 90 days. After that only daily totals per club are kept.
Forms
The report, removal and contact forms keep what you type (your name, email and message), the time, and a code made from your internet address, so we can stop abuse. A removal request is kept so the listing does not come back. We suggest keeping a requester's contact details for twelve months; the final period waits for the legal review.
The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from scripts. It may store data in your browser on those pages only. [WHAT TURNSTILE STORES, checked in a real browser]
Maps
[MAP TILE PROVIDER, once chosen]: when a map is shown, your browser fetches the map's images from that provider, which sees your internet address and the part of the map you are looking at.
