Welcome to the team. We’re Connor and Yasmin, a husband-and-wife team who met through martial arts training in 2017 and married in 2018. Before opening our own gym, we spent years coaching at different gyms across Toronto—often biking from one end of the city to the other to train anyone who wanted to learn. Teaching martial arts has always been central to our lives. In 2025, we opened One To One MMA with a simple belief: MMA is for everyone. We are committed to making real martial arts accessible to people of all ages, experience levels, and income levels. That commitment has shaped everything we do. We’re proud of how diverse our community is. Our members come from all backgrounds, and the gym reflects the true spirit of Toronto.
