Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling in Uptown Waterloo. At Gentle Arts Dojo, we are a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school that focuses on exceptional teaching for kids and adults alike. We aim to empower our students with self-defense skills while fostering a positive and friendly environment. Our experienced instructors are passionate about helping every student reach their full potential. Justin began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2009 at Jean Jacques Machado affiliate Windsor BJJ under Ron Dupuis. In 2015 he continued his training under Dragan Konjevic. After completing his Ph.D in mathematics he transferred his skills gained lecturing university classes to teaching Jiu Jitsu. He created a well-structured curriculum for the dojo that connects concepts in a logical progression, allowing students to learn more efficiently.
