WAMMA (Winnipeg Academy of Mixed Martial Arts) is one of Canada’s top Martial Arts Schools. The school was founded by Curtis Brigham in 2003. Curtis’ initial students were a group of young individuals. Many of the initial group are still at WAMMA as Jiu Jitsu brown/black belts. Students who start at WAMMA, experience a gradual development approach to their skills instead of the “trial by fire” that some coaches/gyms offer. Multiple bus routes run in front of the gym. Free parking on the surrounding streets. Kids Classes at 222 St. Mary’s Road (WAMMA NextGen) All prices include GST. We accept cash, cheques and e-transfers. WAMMA has 8 affiliates gyms. 7 of which are in Manitoba and 1 that is located in Alberta. The Story of WAMMA Introducing Curtis Brigham, professional MMA athlete and founder of Winnipeg Academy of Mixed Martial Arts (WAMMA). In this video, produced by Brett Madill, Curtis recounts the beginning of his MMA journey and describes what to expect at the Winnipeg Gym.
