Welcome to DYNO Detroit! The first and only climbing gym in Eastern Market. Climbing with kids? Important youth information here. We have something for everyone—from new climbers to avid climbers, yogis, lifters or those who just want to hang out with friends in a fun atmosphere. Everything you need to know for your first visit to DYNO Detroit. Purple and proud – we have something for everyone. Come find it here. From mastering essential knots to refining techniques, we offer classes for climbers of all skill levels. Cultivate community and meet people with shared interests! All meet-ups are free for members and are reduced in price for a day pass. And members can bring a guest for free! Excited to take your climbing to the next level? This 90-minute class is designed to teach you how to tie in using the basic Figure-8 knot, belay with a GriGri, and other introductory skills necessary to climb the ropes at DYNO. This course is best suited for those who have already completed a DYNO Detroit orientation and have familiarity with bouldering and auto-belays.
