From the club's website

Victoria's downtown climbing gym. Have fun downtown after work or late night. We are a full service indoor rock climbing gym with bouldering, lead climbing and top roping. Lessons too! After trying to get it right for more than a decade and a half we moved downtown to try and get it right in our own building. We focus on quality setting for soulful climbing. When we teach newcomers, we try to show them why we love climbing, not just how to manage the safety gear. We love being a place for friends to hang out and for a community to spend time together. We still try every day to get it right. Climbing is a great way to use your body in a beautiful open space. We have enjoyable climbing for every fitness level. A visit to the climbing gym doesn’t feel like working out, but regular climbers of all ages find themselves stronger, more flexible and more relaxed. Climbing is great for your mind too! Get the benefits of yoga while enjoying the sunlight and fresh air of our open, airy downtown building.

What it teaches and who for are our best reading of the facts. The club has not confirmed them yet.

Questions to ask before a first class

  • Does a beginner need a lesson or a belay check before climbing?
  • Can you rent shoes and a harness, and what does it cost?
  • Does it run youth programs, and from what age?
  • Must a parent stay with a child, and up to what age?
  • Is there a day pass, or only memberships?

Our own questions for every place we list for climbing, not something Crag X Climbing Centre told us.

Photos, classes and prices come from the club

We never copy them from a club's website: they are the club's own, and they go out of date. They appear here once the club claims this profile and adds them.
