Get ready for Semester Two at The Happening Dance! Running January through April with offerings for littles, youth, and adults. Registration opens Sunday, November 15th! With Season 14 now closed for registration, feel reach out to us through our Contact page if you have any questions about our offerings or for preparing for Season 15! The complete dance experience. This 10-month commitment allows dancers to build skills, confidence, and strong connections throughout the year, all culminating in our exciting year-end show. A flexible option for dancers looking for a shorter commitment. Sessions typically run for 13 weeks, making it perfect for fitting dance into a busy schedule—while still enjoying a fun and engaging studio experience. The Happening started when I convinced the strata of a live/work building on East Fourth and Scotia that they should have a small dance studio in their building. They fell in love with the idea (and me, I think!) and I moved into my new live/work space in June 2013. I spent 2 months getting it ready to launch The Happening’s first summer school in August 2013; I had 3 dancers for that summer camp, and 9 dancers when our first season opened that September.
