From the club's website

Curling is a social sport for people of all ages and abilities. Feel the ice beneath your feet, hold the broom, and slide that stone. Experience curling firsthand at one of our open houses! If you are hooked on curling after your TRY Curling session, why not join our Sunday learn to curl league. Curious about the science of curling? Want to improve your delivery; learn about strategy? We offer beginner and intermediate workshops to up your game. Gather your friends, family, or co-workers for a friendly match. Organized leagues, bonspiels, and themed events run during the curling season. Our centre provides the perfect setting for bonding, strategizing, and celebrating victories (or near misses) together. No experience needed. All equipment and instruction provided. In a fun atmosphere, our volunteers will teach you the basics you need to curl in a non-competitive format.

What it teaches and who for are our best reading of the facts. The club has not confirmed them yet.
