From the club's website

A purpose-built training environment for athletes who want to develop with structure, intention, and a real plan. Coquitlam, BC. The Hockey Lab is a goalie-first development program — now inside the Coquitlam Express Performance Centre. Purpose-built synthetic ice, structured curriculum, and a system designed specifically for goalies. Skaters welcome. Now open — book a free trial or join today. Purpose-built synthetic ice inside the Coquitlam Express Performance Centre — plus a full strength floor and dressing room. This is where every session happens. Goalies are the most underserved position in hockey development. General camps treat them as an afterthought. Drop-in sessions offer volume without structure. And most coaches simply don’t specialize. The Hockey Lab was built specifically for goalies — with a curriculum, not a drill sheet. Semi-private — max 2 athletes on the synthetic ice at a time. Real reps. Real attention. A clear progression system.

What it teaches and who for are our best reading of the facts. The club has not confirmed them yet.

Questions to ask before a first class

  • Which equipment is needed, and is there a used-gear swap?
  • Does a player need to skate first, or is there a learn-to-skate program?
  • What times are the practices, including early mornings?
  • Is it house league or rep, and how much travel does each involve?
  • Are families asked to volunteer or fundraise?

Photos, classes and prices come from the club

We never copy them from a club's website: they are the club's own, and they go out of date. They appear here once the club claims this profile and adds them.
