From the club's website

Ballet BC is an internationally acclaimed collaborative and creation-based company that is a leader and resource in contemporary dance. A collaboration with Arts Umbrella and Modus Operandi, Ballet BC’s junior ensemble Annex performs exciting works by Cameron Fraser-Monroe, Michael Garcia, and Out Innerspace across the province this fall. Auditions are now open for 44 Summer Intensive, a world-renowned two-week program that focuses on technique, improvisation, company repertoire, and the creative process. A new dance film collaboration between Ballet BC and director Marcus Eriksson starring our company artists in a series of evocative chapters exploring memory and connection through movement. Support the work of Ballet BC and help keep Vancouver a centre for creation. Ballet BC is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples— the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil Waututh) First Nations. 2025/26 season photography by Marcus Eriksson. Questions to ask before a first class

  • Which styles does it teach, and from what age?
  • Is it recreational, competitive, or both, and how many hours a week does each take?
  • Are there costume or recital fees on top of class fees?
  • What is the dress code, and which shoes are needed?
  • Is there a trial class or an observation week?

Our own questions for every place we list for dance, not something Ballet BC told us.

Photos, classes and prices come from the club

We never copy them from a club's website: they are the club's own, and they go out of date. They appear here once the club claims this profile and adds them.
