This class will give your little dancer a basic introduction to ballet steps and positions. Enhancing their motor skills and coordination with fun exercises in various music qualities and rhythms. Lots of story-telling with movement and free dance with various props. Introduce your little dancer to the beautiful art of ballet! The dancers will prepare a routine for our Year End Shows. Dancers mature into their first traditional Ballet class with Primary Ballet I. They participate in a Ballet warm-up, stretches, and center work. This class emphasizes proper technique, terminology, and positions, with a curriculum designed to build dancers' strength, grace, and confidence. Classical ballet has much to offer the young dancer; posture, grace, and musicality are just a few of the many benefits. Dancers will explore a range of motions, building strength and flexibility. Our students are trained using the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) method. The dancers will prepare a routine for our Year End Shows.

Questions to ask before a first class

  • Which styles does it teach, and from what age?
  • Is it recreational, competitive, or both, and how many hours a week does each take?
  • Are there costume or recital fees on top of class fees?
  • What is the dress code, and which shoes are needed?
  • Is there a trial class or an observation week?

Photos, classes and prices come from the club

We never copy them from a club's website: they are the club's own, and they go out of date. They appear here once the club claims this profile and adds them.
