From the club's website

Thornhill Figure Skating Club offers learn-to-skate, competitive, and advanced programs with expert coaching in a supportive community. Join us today! Passion lives here at the Thornhill Figure Skating Club. We believe figure skating is more than a sport - It’s an art form defined by grace, strength, and excellence. Our mission is to elevate each skater’s experience through expert resources, world class coaching, and a community built on a shared love for this beautiful sport. Join us as we celebrate the beauty of movement, the thrill of competition, and the pursuit of perfection — one glide at a time. This is where everyone’s skating journey begins. As a Skate Canada club, we offer the nation’s flagship learn-to-skate program: CanSkate. CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development for skaters ages 5 years or older. We also offer a Pre-CanSkate program for our younger skaters aged 3 & 4.

What it teaches and who for are our best reading of the facts. The club has not confirmed them yet.
