Ramac Aquatic Club

The 2019 Ontario Senior Provincial Championships proved to be a very successful meet for RAMAC swimmers that brought home 11 medals! Every athlete representing the club has hit a personal best time in at least one event, while most, dropped times in multiple disciplines. The Boys' Medley Relay team took the 4th place twice, barely missing the podium in the 4x50m race; while the Girls’ team being the youngest overall squad in the competition laid solid groundwork for the immediate and long-term future. Of note is Helen Sava’s performances that broke the Provincial Records for 13 year old girls in 200m backstroke in a time of 2.18.98 and 200m butterfly with 2.19.96. Congratulations Helen! The AGI 2018 meet is in the books! After a tough 4 day schedule, we can look back at the competition held in Etobicoke Olympium from November 8 to 11, and pronounce it a resounding success for RAMAC swimmers of all age categories.
