Climb at Wallnuts! Atlantic Canada's longest running climbing centre. Courses and programs for all ages and skill levels! Our Youth Program runs from September to June for youth up to 18 years of age. Our curriculum is designed in accordance with Sport Canada’s Sport For Life (S4L) and Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) programs. We focus on building physical literacy through movement based activities in a fun and safe environment. We base our program on creating a fun and engaging learning environment, while covering all the necessary risk management to make climbing as safe as it is fun. A youth climber’s category is determined by their age on December 31 of the year that the Program starts. (i.e. A climber born any time in 2014 would be 10 by December 31 and therefore in 9-11 “Fun 2” for the 2024-2025 season.) If a group or session time is not present through the selections below, it means the group is at capacity. Join our wait list by filling out this Wait List Form and we will notify you if a space opens up.

Questions to ask before a first class

  • Does a beginner need a lesson or a belay check before climbing?
  • Can you rent shoes and a harness, and what does it cost?
  • Does it run youth programs, and from what age?
  • Must a parent stay with a child, and up to what age?
  • Is there a day pass, or only memberships?

We never copy them from a club's website: they are the club's own, and they go out of date. They appear here once the club claims this profile and adds them.
