COURTESY. INTEGRITY. PERSEVERANCE. SELF CONTROL. INDOMITABLE SPIRIT. Since 2006 Oakridge Taekwon-Do has been teaching traditional Taekwon-Do to the community... I don't think you understand how big of an impact you have on your students. The guidance and respect we have for you is admirable. "I absolutely love the instructors and seniors. I have learned so much from Taekwon-Do and it has helped me become a better person. The environment is just out of this world and I would recommend Oakridge Taekwon-Do in a heartbeat! Thank You for always pushing me to work hard! Oakridge Taekwon-Do started in 2006 in local school gyms until moving to our current location on Sarnia Road in 2011. The business was built from scratch, and from the heart. We delivered flyers by hand all summer long in order to open that first September with two beginner classes, twice a week.

What it teaches and who for are our best reading of the facts. The club has not confirmed them yet.

Questions to ask before a first class

  • Which style does it teach, and is it about sport, tradition or self-defence?
  • Is there a trial class, and what does a beginner wear to it?
  • What does a uniform cost, and are there fees for belt gradings?
  • Is there a contract, how long is it, and how do you cancel?
  • When does sparring start, and what protective gear is needed?
