We are an indoor climbing gym in Waterloo, Ontario. We have bouldering problems of various difficulty from beginner to seasoned climbers. We also have a moon board, campus boards, and a training/workout area. Climbing is for anyone, young or old. We have climbing ranging from beginner to expert. Grand River Rocks was founded by Josh Tuffin, Christoff Le Roux, Mike Cieplak, and Scott Hamill. Good friends and seasoned climbers long before the idea of opening a climbing gym was ever even imagined. In December 2019, Grand River Rocks opened in Waterloo as the city’s first bouldering-only facility! Our bouldering walls are 13′ tall and have climbs ranging from beginner to professional. Our Waterloo location has a moon board, a training area, a gear shop, and a workout area open to all members and day pass users. Our workout area has a cable machine, rowing machine, 2 stationary bikes, weights plates, dumbbells, kettle bells, and a free standing rig. Our restrooms contain change rooms, lockers, and showers. We also have a gender neutral bathroom.
