Martial Arts Classes in Kitchener/Waterloo, for Children and Adults: Karate, Weapons & Tai Chi. Established in Kitchener Waterloo in1989 For 40 years, we at the Classical Martial Arts Centre, have travelled the world and spent countless hours to bring you a unique, modern training method with classical values. Come and see how what we offer is not “controlled violence”, as it is often portrayed in the media, but a positive way of thinking and acting in your everyday life. Different martial arts have different benefits and goals, so whether you’re looking to get back in shape, learn practical self-defence techniques, or want to build self-esteem and metal health, our community is ready to welcome you. Since 1989 we have developed a program for the whole person. Not just a physical perspective of self defence but a program that will develop the mind, character and inner strength.

What it teaches and who for are our best reading of the facts. The club has not confirmed them yet.

Questions to ask before a first class

  • Which style does it teach, and is it about sport, tradition or self-defence?
  • Is there a trial class, and what does a beginner wear to it?
  • What does a uniform cost, and are there fees for belt gradings?
  • Is there a contract, how long is it, and how do you cancel?
  • When does sparring start, and what protective gear is needed?

Photos, classes and prices come from the club

We never copy them from a club's website: they are the club's own, and they go out of date. They appear here once the club claims this profile and adds them.
