Global Martial Arts Academy

Global Martial Arts Academy is a family owned business that blends experience and knowledge in martial arts, self-defense, and fitness. Our programs provide individuals of all ages and experience an opportunity to reach their fitness goals. The essence of GMA is highlighted in the diverse and internationally recognized Our kickboxing program has a focus on stand-up striking. Technical instruction is spent on punching, kicking, and incorporates knee and elbow strikes. In addition, sparring and conditioning are incorporated into each class. BJJ is a martial art and combative system that originates from Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, with a heavy focus on grappling and ground techniques including holds, joint-locks, and chokes. This program balances Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do & Filipino Kali, with influences from Indonesian and Malaysian martial arts. Wado Kai is one of the four original styles of karate and is the only one that includes Japanese Jiu-Jitsu as a part of its origin and current curriculum. Instructors at GMA have the knowledge, skill, and background to create personalized training programs or seminars to meet your needs. We have previously hosted Women’s Self Defence Workshops, police foundations students, and other private groups.
