From the club's website

You are welcome here. This can be a place for you to belong. Curling is a lifetime sport, played at all levels of competency at the Jasper Place Curling Club. We strive to welcome everyone, provide a great experience of curling, food and beverage, and enjoyable comradery with team mates and other teams. We hope this is a place you feel that you belong in. Do you always need a later start time? Register for the Tuesday or Thursday open league which has alternating start times at 6:30 and 8:45 and request a late start all the time. Jasper Place will continue to offer free practice ice to all club members. We want you to feel like “you belong here”. The Jasper Place Curling Club respectfully acknowledges that we are located on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional gathering place for diverse Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Metis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to influence our vibrant community.

What it teaches and who for are our best reading of the facts. The club has not confirmed them yet.
